About Me

First and foremost I am a mother of 4 beautiful children and a happily married wife. My professional aspirations have been as diverse as the city I live in, Miami. As a teacher, I found immense joy and satisfaction in the interaction with the children I was lucky enough to teach. Truthfully the word teach is incorrect because I learned more from the children than they learned from me. As my own children entered school I found myself needing more flexiblity with my daily schedule and left teaching for the corporate world and utlilzied my graduate degree in Human Resources Management. The company I worked for sent me to many locations around the world and this is where my realms collide. As I would travel to locations as foreign as the Philippines, China and India the teacher in me wouldn't turn off. I was constantly investigating the educational systems in these countries and trying to learn about what made them special. Of all the things I learned through this process, Vedic math was the most captivating. So this is where my Math Monkey story begins...
